To create a forum for parents and teachers, to share information, and to actively contribute to the school calendar, for the benefit of the children.
Who Are We?
The PTA are a group of parents and a teacher representative who are responsible for the fundraising activities and community events which make our school the focus of the Tauwhare Community. Please consider joining the PTA as we really do appreciate any support from our school families.
The AGM is held at the beginning of each school year and monthly meetings are held from 7:30pm – 8:30pm in the staffroom at school. Meeting dates are advised in the school newsletter and on the school website.
At each meeting the Assistant Principal or Principal gives a report on the curriculum or other school news. Other updates and information can also be found on our PTA facebook page - Friends of Tauwhare School

Fundraising and Community Activities
PTA organise a variety of community and fundraising activities throughout the year, including school lunches, quiz nights, calf club and end of year prizegiving.
