Positive Behaviour Promoting Learning

School values play a crucial role in shaping students' behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment. The Tauwhare values are Respect, Responsibility and Resilience and create a supportive atmosphere. Respect involves acknowledging the dignity and rights of others, ensuring that students listen to and value each other's opinions. Responsibility encourages students to take ownership of their actions and learning, promoting accountability and self-discipline. Resilience fosters a culture of trust and perseverance, where students feel safe to express themselves and work hard without fear of judgement.

By integrating these values into daily routines and expectations, we cultivate a classroom environment where positive behaviour thrives and students are empowered to achieve their full potential. We use S.M.A.R.T as our way to help make these values understandable and visible across the school.
